Blanchette Barracudas

The Blanchette Barracudas is a summer swim league located in St. Charles, MO for children ages 5-18 years old. We start practicing after Memorial Day and the season lasts until late July. We will have 3 home and 3 away meets plus an intrasquad meet (practice meet) before the first meet. Our team is perfect if you are interested in joining a structured swim league. We focus on teaching strokes and techniques, while having fun!

*There are no residency requirements for joining the team- all are welcome!

Minimum Requirements:

Swimmers age 8 and younger need to be able to swim freestyle one length of the pool (25 yards) independently.

Swimmers age 9 and older need to be able to swim freestyle and backstroke 2 lengths of the pool (50 yards).

If your swimmer is new to the team, please come to the new swimmer evaluation on Thursday, May 21, 2026. You can drop in anytime between 5:30-7:30 PM and evaluations will be first come first serve. The evaluation should take around 10 minutes, but there may be a short wait. 

Please sign up for the team before coming to the evaluation (the team will most likely be full by the time evaluations begin).
